Billericay and District Angling Club

Billericay and District Angling Club was formed in 1957, and now is the largest in Essex, offering fishing on 31 lakes and stretches of the river Roding, Blackwater, Pant, Wid and Stour. BDAC is affiliated to The Angling Trust. Several of their waters contain Carp to the mid thirty mark.

Southminster Fisheries

This was the Club’s first purchase in the 1970’s and much time and effort has been spent on its improvement since. Carp 31lbs

Barleylands Farm – Crays Hill

This is a well-established agricultural reservoir, which primarily caters for the carp angler.There are several carp over 30lbs present, with many over 20lbs.

Jackletts Farm Fishery

This 6-acre farm reservoir has been very popular over the past few years, as the numbers and size of carp have grown. Carp 32lbs.

Little Easton Fishery – Laundry Lake

The fishery holds a very good head of carp to over 30lb.

Willow Mere

This is a 1.5 acre lake with established swims, good depths, and protection from the wind. It holds a good mixed stock. Carp 35lbs.
