Waters of note
Totham Pit – Great Totham
mature 70 year old gravel pit of 8+ acres with heavily wooded banks and 53 swims. There is an interesting combination of shallows, bays and deeper water. Most of the fish grow large here with carp to 30lb.
Howells Lake – Langford
Their most popular carp lake. A five acre carp lake containing a good head of common and mirror carp to around 30lbs. This venue used to get quite weedy in the warmer months but now remains largely weed free.
Slough House Farm – Heybridge
Attractive lake of around five acres with extensive marginal reed beds and an island. This lake gets quite weedy in the warmer months and contains carp to upper twenties.
